Your journey starts with a one-on-one conversation. Your surgeon reviews your implants, breast tissue, skin elasticity, and overall shape, and talks through what you're hoping for. We'll walk through your options—removal alone, replacement, or removal with fat grafting—along with expected recovery, risks, and costs, so you can decide with confidence.

Surgical Planning & Anesthesia
Before the procedure, we go over your treatment plan and medical history, and make any necessary pre-operative markings. Surgery is performed under general anesthesia, with an anesthesiologist monitoring you throughout.

Procedure
Once you're comfortably under anesthesia, your surgeon proceeds through the most appropriate incision, often the original scar. Depending on your plan, the implant, the surrounding capsule, or both are addressed. If replacement or fat grafting is happening in the same session, that's completed before closing.

Recovery & Follow-up
You'll rest in our recovery area until you're ready to head home. Before you leave, we'll go over wound care, medication, support garments, and follow-up visits—and our team is available if anything comes up during recovery.
