Our Approach at BIANCA CLINIC
Breast sagging can develop as a result of aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight fluctuations, and gradual changes in skin elasticity. The degree of sagging differs from person to person, and successful mastopexy requires careful evaluation of breast volume, skin condition, nipple position, breast symmetry, and chest proportions.
Every BREAST LIFT at BIANCA CLINIC is individually planned. Our surgeons assess nipple and areola positioning, breast projection, cleavage balance, and the transition between the upper chest and breast contour — with an eye on how results will hold over time. This allows us to recommend a treatment plan designed for both immediate improvement and long-term satisfaction.
For patients seeking additional volume, breast lift with implants, breast lift with augmentation, or breast lift with fat transfer may be discussed. For those who prefer to maintain their current breast size, breast lift without implants remains an effective option for improving breast position and shape.
Our clinics in central Tokyo regularly welcome international patients, and English-language support is available throughout the consultation process.

Downtime
Postoperative discomfort generally lasts around one week and can be managed with prescribed medication. A supportive breast band is typically worn for the first week following surgery. Suture removal is generally performed approximately 7 days after treatment, and showering is usually permitted from the third postoperative day.
Follow-up appointments are scheduled after surgery to monitor healing and recovery progress.
Recommended for
- Sagging breasts caused by aging or breastfeeding
- Loss of breast shape after significant weight loss
- Breast asymmetry or uneven nipple position
- Loss of upper breast fullness due to tissue descent
- A preference for breast lift without implants
- A desire to improve breast shape and position without increasing breast size
- Interest in restoring a more youthful breast contour
Characteristics
Unlike breast augmentation, which adds volume through implants or fat transfer, a breast lift procedure focuses on reshaping existing breast tissue and removing excess skin. Breast volume may remain largely unchanged while position and contour are significantly improved. Many patients choose breast lift surgery because they want to restore a youthful appearance while keeping a natural size.
As breast sagging progresses, the nipples may gradually point downward, and asymmetry between the breasts may also develop. Even when volume remains unchanged, a shifted nipple position can significantly affect the overall look of the breasts.
At BIANCA CLINIC, nipple and areola positioning is carefully planned during every breast lift operation. Our surgeons evaluate body proportions, breast symmetry, and chest anatomy to achieve a natural-looking result that complements the patient's overall physique.
At BIANCA CLINIC, we commonly use the anchor technique (also known as the inverted-T incision). This approach makes it easier to reshape the breast and is well suited even for severe breast sagging.
Because incision patterns and scar placement vary by technique, we'll walk you through these details carefully, taking downtime and final results into account. Your treatment plan will be tailored to your breast condition and goals, with attention to scarring and the anticipated outcome.
Benefits
A More Youthful Breast Contour
Improved Shape Without Increasing Breast Size
Customized Correction of Asymmetry and Excess Skin
Key Features
Every patient presents with unique anatomy. Factors such as breast volume, nipple position, skin quality, and chest proportions are carefully evaluated to guide surgical planning and influence the final outcome.During consultation, our surgeons carefully evaluate these factors and develop a treatment strategy tailored to your specific goals.
Whether you're correcting sagging after pregnancy, improving breast shape after weight loss, or restoring a youthful contour without implants, the surgical plan is built around you.
At BIANCA CLINIC, these details are central to how we approach BREAST LIFT surgery. Small adjustments in nipple position and breast contour can make a striking difference in the final aesthetic result. The goal is a natural appearance — one that feels harmonious rather than obviously operated upon.
Depending on your goals, treatment options may include:
● Breast lift plus implants
● Breast lift using fat transfer
● Areola reduction surgery
● Nipple reduction surgery
For patients seeking a more natural approach, breast lift using own fat may be discussed when anatomically appropriate. Your surgeon will explain which combination approach best aligns with your goals during consultation.

Q&A
What is a BREAST LIFT?
A BREAST LIFT, also known as mastopexy, is a surgical procedure that elevates sagging breasts, repositions the nipple and areola, and improves overall breast shape. Unlike breast augmentation, the primary goal is to restore a more youthful breast contour rather than increase breast size.
Who is a good candidate for a BREAST LIFT?
Breast lift for sagging breasts may be appropriate for individuals experiencing breast descent due to aging, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, or natural changes in skin elasticity. It is often chosen by patients who want to improve breast shape while maintaining a natural breast size.
Can I have a BREAST LIFT without implants?
Yes. Many patients choose breast lift without implants, breast lift no implant, or breast lift only procedures when they are satisfied with their current breast volume but want to improve breast position, firmness, and overall contour.
Can a BREAST LIFT be combined with implants or fat transfer?
Yes. Depending on your goals, a breast lift with implants, breast lift with augmentation, or breast lift with fat transfer may be performed to address both breast sagging and volume concerns. Your surgeon will recommend the most appropriate approach based on your anatomy and desired outcome.
Is BREAST LIFT suitable after pregnancy, breastfeeding, or weight loss?
Yes. Breast lift after breastfeeding and breast lift after weight loss are among the most common reasons patients seek treatment. These life changes can stretch the skin and significantly alter the shape of the breasts. Breast lift surgery can help restore a more youthful, balanced contour. However, it is generally recommended to wait until your breasts have stabilized before undergoing surgery.
What is the typical breast lift recovery time?
Breast lift recovery time varies by individual. Significant swelling generally improves within approximately 1–2 weeks, bruising often resolves within about 10 days, and discomfort typically subsides within one week. The scar’s color and texture, along with the final results, may take several months to settle.
Will I have breast lift scars?
Yes. Breast lift scars are an expected part of surgery — in many cases, excess skin must be removed to achieve the lifting effect, and incision lines may be noticeable for some time afterward. Their appearance depends on the surgical technique used and individual healing. Most incision marks gradually soften and fade over time.
What are the risks of BREAST LIFT surgery?
Possible breast lift risks include infection, hematoma formation, delayed healing, asymmetry, scarring, and temporary or permanent changes in breast lift nipple sensation. Your surgeon will explain the potential risks and expected recovery process during your consultation.
