    HydraFacial is a skin treatment that thoroughly cleanses and removes old dead skin cells from the surface and deep cleansing facial pores using a vortex water flow containing beauty ingredients. It simultaneously performs microdermabrasion (physical exfoliation) × chemical peeling (chemical dissolution) × beauty ingredient infusion, making it a treatment where you can easily experience tone-up and improved firmness and glow immediately after the procedure.

    Using a mild peeling solution containing glycolic acid and salicylic acid with water flow to perform peeling results in less burden on the skin compared to conventional peeling. Dryness, redness, and peeling that commonly occur with chemical peels are less likely to happen, and you will likely experience minimal stinging pain. Since the treatment causes minimal pain, there is almost no downtime.   • HydraFacial Treatment Steps

    HydraFacial performs exfoliation care in four steps: cleansing, peeling, pore suction, and infusion.

    STEP 1.
    Cleansing + Skin Softening Softens the skin to lift dirt and cleanses with a specialized solution containing beauty ingredients to deep clean your face and pores.
    STEP 2.
    Peeling Applies a mild peeling solution to take off dead skin cells and stubborn sebum that could not be removed in the first step.
    STEP 3.
    Pore Cleansing + Hydration Removes impurities such as sebum and keratin plugs through suction while simultaneously infusing hydrating facial moisturizer for dry skin to soothe the skin.
    STEP 4.
    Beauty Serum Infusion + Protection Infuses beauty serum containing antioxidant components, hyaluronic acid, peptides, etc., onto the skin surface.
    The HydraFacial treatment takes about 30 minutes.

  • Downtime after HydraFacial

    After treatment, redness and stinging may occur but will disappear within a few hours. The skin may become dry after treatment, so please moisturize thoroughly.     The agent "Beta-HD" containing salicylic acid softens the inside of pores while simultaneously infusing Hydration face components. Finally, beauty serum containing low-molecular hyaluronic acid and multiple amino acids is infused into the skin.

One disadvantage of HydraFacial is that the treated area may become dry after treatment. The skin may also become more susceptible to sun damage, and there is a risk of pigmentation from strong sunburn, so please ensure thorough UV protection. However, this is temporary, and the skin's resistance and moisture retention will improve over time.

Q Is it true that HydraFacial widens pores?
A

HydraFacial does not widen pores. Some people may feel that their pores have temporarily widened when clogs and dirt are removed. HydraFacial is not expected to improve open pores, so it may be judged as "meaningless," but if sebum in the pores is not removed, it may push the pores wider, so removing pore dirt with HydraFacial helps prevent pore widening. If you want to improve open pores, you can combine it with other treatments that have a tightening effect, so please consult with us during your consultation.

Q What is the difference between HydraFacial and HydraGentle?
A

"Hydra" is used in the names of devices that use water flow to cleanse the skin's dead cells and plugs. HydraFacial is a device manufactured in the United States, while HydraGentle is a device manufactured by Eunsung in Korea. Neither is a medical device, and both can be introduced as aesthetic equipment. Another difference is that HydraFacial has received FDA approval in the United States, while HydraGentle has not.
