The SMAS layer connects the skin, fat, and muscle layers, playing a key role in facial expressions, skin firmness, and sagging. With general filler / hyaluronic acid injection methods using ultra-fine needles, pain isn't severe. Our clinic uses special pain-conscious needles, allowing you to receive treatment with more peace of mind. Sometimes pain may occur after treatment. While cooling the area can help somewhat, please consult us immediately if pain persists, as we can prescribe pain medication.
- Q What should I avoid after filler / hyaluronic acid injection?

For about a week after treatment, avoid massaging or applying pressure to the injection area. Also be careful with actions that strain the injection site. Additionally, avoid intense exercise, alcohol consumption, and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
- Q When can I apply makeup after filler / hyaluronic acid injection?

It's possible from the day of treatment. You can wash your face and remove makeup as usual from the treatment day. However, to minimize strain on the injection site, we recommend avoiding the treated area when applying makeup.
- Q What are common side effects after filler / hyaluronic acid injection?

During downtime after treatment, effects like swelling, redness, and bruising may occur. However, these symptoms usually settle within a few days, and bruising is typically mild enough to be covered with makeup.
- Q When can I take baths or use saunas after filler / hyaluronic acid injection?

It's possible from the treatment day. However, since increased blood flow from warming the body can cause swelling, we recommend keeping it to light showers. Saunas should also be avoided for the same reason. If you must bathe on the treatment day, limit it to about 5 minutes in lukewarm water. From the next day, you can bathe as usual.
