Three modalities were used on the same area for different reasons: liposuction removes the submental fat, FaceTite delivers radiofrequency under the skin to contract it, and Morpheus8 remodels the surface layer. Removing fat alone from under the chin risks leaving loose skin behind, particularly where the skin has already lost elasticity. At three months the retraction is complete and the jawline definition is stable. FaceTite and Morpheus8 act at different depths within the same tissue, which is why they are paired rather than used alone. The area feels firm and slightly irregular for several weeks while it remodels, and that resolves without intervention.

Radiofrequency energy delivered under the skin leaves the face swollen and firm for one to two weeks, with numbness and a tight, ropey feeling that can last longer. The small entry points heal as faint marks. Burns, prolonged hardness, visible bands, or contour irregularity are uncommon but may need massage or further treatment. Tightening builds over two to three months as collagen remodels, and the degree of change varies with skin quality and age.

Under the chin, the needle grid shows as red dots with mild swelling for two to four days, and tiny scabs may form. Tenderness and dryness follow for about a week. Pigment can darken after treatment, so sun protection is advised. Bruising along the jaw is more noticeable when this is combined with other procedures. Several sessions are usually planned, with change appearing gradually rather than immediately.

Suction under the chin causes swelling, bruising, and a sensation like muscle soreness for one to several weeks, and numbness of the skin may persist for months. A compression band is worn as instructed. Firm areas, small dips, unevenness between sides, or loose skin can remain and may need revision. Fluid collection, infection, and prolonged induration are uncommon. Fat embolism and deep vein thrombosis are very rare but serious complications of any liposuction.
