Treatment details: Baby Collagen (Under Eyes)

This treatment targeted the groove between the lower lid and the cheek, where a step in the surface catches light and reads as a dark line regardless of skin tone. Baby Collagen was placed to smooth that step rather than to add volume to the cheek itself. A cannula was used from a lateral entry point, which allows the material to be laid along the whole length of the groove through one puncture. This picture was taken as the appointment ended. The area may look slightly overfilled at this moment because of injection fluid, and this resolves within several days without intervention.

Bruising is the most frequent finding after treatment of the lower lid and usually clears within seven to fourteen days, and concealer can be used once the entry points close. Puffiness may come and go early. Because the skin covering this area is very thin, shallow placement can show as a lump or as a bluish Tyndall discoloration and may require correction. Asymmetry can persist briefly. Serious vascular events are exceptionally rare. Repeat treatment maintains the result.
