This was a body session using the same ultrasound and radiofrequency combination, with the applicator settings adjusted to the thickness of the area treated. The photograph is taken immediately after the session, so what is visible is the initial response rather than the final result. Firmness continues to develop as new collagen forms over the following weeks. What is visible immediately after a session is partly the tissue response to the energy delivered rather than the final contour, so this image should be read as the starting point of a course rather than an endpoint.

Warmth and flushing of the treated skin during and after the session fade within hours, with mild swelling or itchiness in some cases. Deep heating may leave the area tender to press for a few days. Surface burns, blisters, and pigment change are rare with appropriate cooling. Response varies widely with tissue thickness and skin condition, and firmness improves gradually rather than immediately, so several sessions spaced weeks apart are normally required.
