What is Sculptra® Injection?
A natural lifting and rejuvenation treatment using Poly-L-Lactic Acid (PLLA-SCA).
After age 20, you lose about 1% of collagen per year. Sculptra is the first and original FDA-approved poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA-SCA) facial injectable that targets fine lines, wrinkles, sagging, and other signs of aging due to collagen loss, gradually helping restore skin structure and volume.
How It Differs from Traditional Fillers
Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers that directly fill wrinkles and volume loss, Sculptra works by stimulating your body’s natural collagen production to smooth facial wrinkles and improve skin tightness, helping to rejuvenate the skin from within.

Important Treatment Information
- A series of treatments is recommended, typically 2–3 sessions spaced 4–8 weeks apart.
- Results develop gradually over time, creating a natural increase in volume.
- Temporary swelling may occur immediately after treatment due to the injected solution, but this usually subsides within one week. ※
- New collagen production generally begins to become noticeable after approximately 3–4 weeks.
- To help reduce the risk of nodule formation, patients are advised to follow the “5-5-5 Rule”:Massage the treated area
- 5 times per day
- For 5 minutes each time
- For 5 consecutive days after treatment

※ The most common side effects after initial treatment include injection site swelling, tenderness, redness, pain, bruising, bleeding, itching, and lumps. Other side effects may include small lumps under the skin that are sometimes noticeable when pressing on the treated area. Larger lumps, some with delayed onset with or without inflammation or skin discoloration, have also been reported.
