Treatment details: ezGEL (PRF)
Because ezGEL is autologous, the same preparation can be used in patients who prefer to avoid synthetic fillers entirely. The material is placed in the plane where it will act on the overlying skin rather than deep for projection. The immediate photograph shows the initial placement, and the biological response continues over the following month. The volume of gel obtained depends on the individual blood sample, which means the amount available is not fixed in advance the way it is with a syringe of manufactured filler.
Expect tenderness, mild swelling, and small raised areas where the gel is placed. These usually flatten within three to five days. Bruising at both the site of the blood draw and the treated area is common and clears within a week. Results appear slowly over weeks, differ between individuals, and fade as the material is absorbed, so sessions are repeated. Lumps that persist, inflammation, or infection are uncommon. Treatment is postponed if there is active skin infection.
