Hi! It’s me again, Sara

Have you also noticed how your skin changes with the weather? My skin usually does well, but during seasonal transitions, it always starts breaking out!

Yes, the environment has a big impact on our skin. From hot and humid summers to cold and dry winters, or during allergy season, adapting your skincare routine is essential to maintaining a healthy, glowing complexion year-round. Today, I’m going to share my tips and tricks for skincare and treatments that can help prevent breakouts.

Fall: Prepare Your Skin for Cold Weather

Fall is the perfect time to repair any sun damage from summer and start prepping for the cold, dry months ahead. Cold air and low humidity levels can lead to dry, flaky, and irritated skin. Harsh winds strip away moisture, and indoor heating can exacerbate dryness.

Fall Skincare Tips:

  • Switch to a Hydrating Cleanser: Opt for gentle, moisturizing cleansers that don’t strip the skin’s natural oils.
  • Start Exfoliating More Regularly: After summer, your skin may have built up dead cells, so increase exfoliation to keep your skin smooth and receptive to products.
  • Reintroduce Heavier Moisturizers: As the air becomes drier, start using more emollient-rich products to maintain hydration.
  • Repair with Retinoids and Peptides: Fall is the perfect time to start using retinoids to increase cell turnover and repair summer sun damage. Peptides can help restore and strengthen the skin barrier.
  • Don’t Forget SPF: Even during fall and winter, SPF is crucial to protect your skin from UV damage.
  • Protect Your Lips: Dry, chapped lips are common in cooler weather, so start using a moisturizing lip balm with SPF.

Treatments:

I personally recommend combining a gentle peel with a facial. Since I have very sensitive and dry skin, I opt for Lhala Peel and MesonaJ.

  • Peeling rejuvenates the skin by exfoliating dead cells, brightening the complexion, reducing wrinkles, and improving texture for a radiant, smooth appearance.
  • MesonaJ then allows deeper penetration of active ingredients into the dermis, enhancing skin hydration, firmness, and overall rejuvenation.

LHALA Peel: A Revolutionary New Concept in Peeling

LHALA Peel, originating from Korea, combines LHA (Capryloyl Salicylic Acid) with an alkaline component. While traditional peels focus primarily on “Peeling” or exfoliation, LHALA Peel introduces the concept of “Filling” or replenishing the skin. It’s a gentler alternative with minimal downtime and fewer side effects, making it kinder to sensitive skin.

LHALA Peel Benefits:

  • Tone-up and Brightening: Improves dullness and enhances skin radiance.
  • Deep Moisturization: Provides intense hydration to combat dryness.
  • Minimal Irritation and Downtime: Gentle on the skin with little to no recovery time needed.
  • Increased Firmness and Glow: Boosts skin elasticity and adds a natural glow.
  • Fine Line Reduction: Helps smooth out small wrinkles.
  • Supports Skin Barrier Function: Strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
  • Promotes Regeneration from Within: Encourages skin renewal at a deeper level for long-lasting results.

MesonaJ: Advanced Transdermal Delivery Technology

MesonaJ is a specialized device developed in Japan, based on the Italian-made MesoActis. It uses mesoporation, a painless technique that enables deeper penetration of multiple non-ionized and high-molecular active ingredients (such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, and growth factors) into the dermis. This method ensures that even ingredients that would not normally penetrate the skin can be effectively delivered without discomfort.

Mesoporation Technology:

  • MesonaJ delivers active ingredients to the skin at approximately 300 times the rate of regular topical application and 70 times more effectively than iontophoresis.

The Two-Step Treatment:

  1. Electroporation: A pen-shaped device emits special electric pulses to create temporary openings in the cell membranes of the skin, allowing the ingredients to penetrate deeply into the dermis.
  2. Delivery with a Roller Device: The roller uses electrical repulsion, electroporation, and physical pressure to push active ingredients like hyaluronic acid into the skin without causing damage. These high-molecular-weight substances reach the dermis, mimicking the effects of injection-based treatments.

Active Ingredients Combined:

  • Vitamin C Derivatives: Boost collagen production, effectively addressing wrinkles, dark spots, and overall anti-aging.
  • Tranexamic Acid: Offers anti-inflammatory properties and is particularly effective for melasma.
  • Arbutin: Improves hyperpigmentation and evening skin tone.
  • Argireline: Known as “topical Botox,” helps reduce wrinkles by relaxing facial muscles.
  • Hyaluronic Acid: Enhances skin moisture retention, smooths texture, and provides anti-aging benefits, resulting in firmer, more radiant skin.
  • Vitamin A: Improves pore size, skin firmness, and acne while preventing photoaging.
  • Vitamin B12: Addresses redness and conditions like atopic dermatitis.
  • Vitamin B6: Promotes skin cell turnover, clearing dead skin and unclogging pores, improving texture and overall health.

Since both Lhala peel and MesonaJ don’t damage the skin, there is no downtime, and you can apply makeup immediately afterward.

With these treatments and tips, you can keep your skin glowing and healthy through the seasonal changes. If you’re interested in specific concerns, or if you have any question, do not hesitate to contact us or book a consultation at BIANCA clinic. Our doctors will be happy to help you.
