Treatment details: VASER Liposuction (Jawline, Submental)
VASER liposuction was used across the jawline and submental area, a region where precision matters more than volume removed. Ultrasound energy loosens fat before suction, which allows finer cannulas to work close to the skin surface with less trauma and a lower risk of contour irregularity than traditional technique. The definition of the jaw depends on removing fat evenly rather than aggressively at any single point. One month shows a clear change, although residual firmness under the chin is common at this stage and softens over the following months. Compression is worn as directed to help the skin redrape.
Around the jaw and neck, swelling peaks at two to three days and hides the outcome for several weeks, so the outline continues to refine for about three months. A compression band is worn as instructed, and bruising, numbness, and a tight or lumpy feeling under the chin are usual during recovery. Ultrasound energy adds a small risk of burns or skin irregularity. Seroma and infection are uncommon. Fat embolism and clot formation remain rare but serious concerns.
