This combined procedure is more than correcting eyelid drooping or lifting the mid face independently. It is an approach designed to restore balance to the entire upper and middle face by addressing both skin laxity and tissue descent together. When these areas are treated in harmony, the face can appear more refreshed while maintaining natural expression.
My guiding principle is that the most beautiful results preserve individuality. The eyes and mid face play a central role in facial expression and first impressions. By carefully removing excess upper eyelid skin and gently repositioning mid facial tissues, we aim to create a brighter, rested appearance without altering how the patient naturally looks when they smile or speak.
During the consultation, I carefully assess eyelid anatomy, eye opening, brow position, cheek volume, and facial movement. We discuss concerns and goals in detail, and visual explanations or imaging may be used to review potential outcomes together. This process helps ensure realistic expectations and a well-balanced surgical plan.
This procedure is always planned collaboratively. By combining surgical expertise with the patient’s aesthetic goals, we design a treatment that enhances facial harmony while preserving natural character.
The objective is a clear, refreshed eye area and softly lifted mid face that looks natural from every angle. These are results meant to feel subtle, comfortable, and confidence-enhancing over time.
Swelling, bruising, and tightness around the eyes and mid face may occur and can persist for several weeks.
Temporary pain, dryness of the eyes, or discomfort may be experienced during the recovery period.
Asymmetry, uneven healing, or temporary changes in eyelid shape may occur.
Temporary difficulty closing the eyes fully or eye fatigue may occur in the early postoperative period.
Scarring may occur, although incisions are placed to minimize visibility.
Numbness or altered sensation in the eyelids or cheeks may occur and usually improves over time.
In rare cases, infection, bleeding, or delayed wound healing may occur.
Very rarely, complications affecting vision or eye function may occur.
Results may vary depending on individual anatomy, healing response, and postoperative care.
