Four points along the side of the face were treated with filler, and the under eye was treated separately with Baby Collagen. The distinction matters: the cheek and jawline need a product with enough firmness to support structure, while the skin under the eye is too thin for that and needs something softer. Using one product across both areas is what produces a heavy or bluish under eye. Four different gels were used across the four sites, matched to how much movement each area sees. What is shown here was taken at the end of the session, before any of the injection swelling had begun to settle.

Filler across the cheeks, folds, and jawline swells for two to three days and bruises where vessels are crossed, particularly near the marionette lines. Along the jaw the product feels firm to the touch for some weeks, which is expected. It can migrate slightly, form nodules, or look uneven, and adjustment is sometimes needed. Infection is uncommon. Vascular occlusion causing damage to the skin is rare and is treated urgently. Volume declines over six to eighteen months.

Beneath the eye, bruising is likely and swelling can obscure the outcome for one to two weeks. Because that skin is thin, material sitting too high may show as a bump or a Tyndall type bluish shadow, and it takes time to soften. The two sides rarely settle identically. Infection is rare. Absorption occurs over months, so the area gradually returns toward its previous appearance without further sessions.
