Treatment details: Baby Collagen (Under Eyes)
Filling the under eye with collagen rather than hyaluronic acid was a deliberate choice for this patient. Hyaluronic acid draws water and can look puffy in the morning in a region where the skin is at its thinnest, whereas Baby Collagen holds its shape without that fluctuation. One millilitre was distributed evenly along the groove using a cannula, entering from a single point to limit bruising. The image is taken immediately after the procedure. The area looks slightly raised at this stage from injection fluid, and the surface smooths out over the following week as that resolves and the material integrates.
