In the simplest terms, plastic surgery in Japan is not just about invasive procedures. It includes surgical and minimally invasive procedures that can greatly enhance form and function. For instance, a typical list of plastic surgery procedures in Japan would be: eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty, facial contouring, and body sculpting. Yet getting them in Japan, and to a greater extent, in Tokyo, you will notice an emphasis on anatomical harmony with surgeons aiming to complement your features rather than change your identity.
