Volnewmer and HIFU were combined because they reach different depths. HIFU with Ultracell Zi delivers focused ultrasound to the SMAS layer, while Volnewmer applies monopolar radiofrequency through the dermis and subcutaneous tissue. Using both covers a wider vertical range than either alone. Neither device produces an immediate visible change; tightening develops as collagen remodels over the following months, which is why the one month image shows a partial rather than a final result. Continued improvement is usual up to around three months. Warmth, redness and occasional tenderness along the treated area settle within hours to days.

Volnewmer heats the skin in passes, so warmth, redness, and mild swelling are felt during and shortly after the session and fade within hours. Tenderness or slight tingling along the treated lines can last a day or two. Burns and blistering are rare while cooling and temperature checks are used, and pigment change is unusual. Firmness builds slowly over two to three months, differs from person to person, and repeat sessions are advised to hold the result.

Focused ultrasound is felt as brief deep pricking during delivery, and the treated area can ache or feel tender to pressure for one to two weeks. Small areas of numbness or tingling occasionally last several weeks. Temporary nerve irritation causing a weak or uneven smile is rare and recovers. Some loss of fat where energy is applied is possible in thin faces. Tightening appears gradually over about three months and varies with skin condition.
