Treatment details: Tattoo Removal (Right Dorsal Hand)
This is the sixth session on the back of the hand, and the ink has lightened considerably from where it started. Hands are slower to clear than the trunk because circulation and lymphatic drainage in the extremities are less efficient, so the interval between sessions matters as much as the treatment itself. The area is also constantly exposed, which makes sun protection between visits a practical requirement rather than advice. Small residual pigment is visible at this stage and will continue to fade before the next pass. Some colours resist clearance more than black, and complete removal cannot be promised in advance.
Immediately after each pass the skin whitens, then reddens and swells with a stinging feeling for a day or two. Blisters, pinpoint bleeding, and scabs can form on the back of the hand, where healing runs slower than on the trunk. Pigment may darken or lighten along the treated outline for several months. Greens, light blues, and cosmetic inks often resist clearing, and a faint shadow can remain after a full course. Sun protection is required between sessions.
