Individual lesions were removed and priced by size, which suits a patient with a limited number of specific spots rather than widespread change. Anything with an unusual border, colour or history is assessed before treatment; removal is only appropriate once a lesion is confidently benign. The wounds are small and close under protective tape within one to two weeks. Two months is a useful review point because the pink discolouration that follows any skin removal has largely faded by then, though it can take several more months to settle completely. Deeper lesions occasionally recur and need a second treatment, which is discussed in advance.

Each treated point is left as a small raw area that crusts and closes over one to two weeks while protective tape is worn. Pink discoloration or a slightly pale mark often follows and fades across several months. Deeper or raised lesions sometimes regrow and need a second session. A shallow dent, a firm edge, or a fine scar can remain permanently. Any lesion with unclear features is examined before removal is planned.
