NEAUVIA INTENSE was chosen for the nasal tip because it is one of the firmer products available and holds projection where softer fillers would flatten under the skin tension at the tip. The volume used here is small; in this area, accuracy of placement matters more than quantity. Because so little product is used at the tip, an image taken on the day of treatment is already close to the settled result, which is not the case where larger volumes are placed. The nasal tip has a limited blood supply and the skin sits under tension, so injection is slow, in small increments, with aspiration and constant attention to skin colour. Firmness at the tip for a few days afterwards is normal.

The nose is the highest risk area for filler. Injection into or compression of a vessel can cut off blood supply to the tip or nostril skin, producing dusky discoloration, pain, and ulceration, and vascular spread toward the eye has caused loss of vision in isolated reports. Any pain or color change needs immediate assessment and hyaluronidase. Ordinary swelling, redness, and tenderness of the tip settle within days. The tip can look broader than intended, and the material absorbs over months.
