Treatment details: Hyaluronic Acid Injection (Nose, Midcheek Groove, Cheeks, Chin: NEAUVIA INTENSE, NEAUVIA LV, NEAUVIA RHEOLOGY, NEAUVIA FLUX)
Four different NEAUVIA gels were used because each site asks for a different firmness. INTENSE went where the filler has to hold a shape against bone, LV and RHEOLOGY into the midcheek groove and cheeks where a softer gel integrates without leaving edges, and FLUX where movement is greatest. Matching gel to layer is what keeps a treatment across several sites from looking heavy or blocked. This image is taken immediately after injection, so a small amount of the fullness seen here is the injection itself rather than final volume. The shape settles over the following two weeks as that resolves, and we review before considering any refinement.
Injection at the nose carries a rare but serious risk of vascular occlusion: blocked flow can cause pain, blanching, dusky skin and tissue loss, and injection near the nose has in exceptional cases been linked to loss of vision. Sudden pain or any change in vision after treatment needs emergency hyaluronidase. Elsewhere, swelling and bruising last a few days, firmness at the chin and cheek is felt for weeks, and filler in the midcheek groove can look puffy or uneven. The result fades within a year.
