Body treatment with Alma PrimeX applies ultrasound to the deeper fat layer and radiofrequency to the overlying skin in the same session. Because the skin is warmed while the contour is worked on, laxity is less likely to be left behind than with energy applied to fat alone. The photograph is one month after treatment, by which point the early swelling has settled and the collagen response has begun. Three time points were photographed because the response here is progressive. What shows at one week is largely the immediate tissue effect, while what shows at three weeks reflects the remodelling that follows it.

Treated skin looks red and feels warm for a few hours, sometimes into the next day, and mild swelling or tenderness can follow. Firm spots or small tender lumps under the skin occasionally appear and settle within weeks. Blistering and burns are rare when cooling and settings are correct. Tightening develops slowly across two to three months and differs between individuals according to skin laxity and the area treated, so a series of sessions is planned.
