Will there be swelling or redness after the treatment? Some patients may experience swelling, bruising, or redness following PRP injection. These side effects usually subside with time and typically resolve within a few days.
- Does PRP injection hurt? The pain during blood collection is similar to that of a routine blood test. Since PRP is injected with a needle, you may feel slight pricks.
