This patient had been bothered by dark circles and deepening hollows under the eyes, which gave the whole face a tired and somewhat older impression. We injected ezGEL (PRF) — a 100% autologous gel filler made from the patient’s own blood — into the under-eye area to restore smooth, natural support.
Immediately after treatment, the hollows are visibly softened and the shadow line between the eye and the cheek is much less noticeable, brightening the entire eye area. Because the filler is derived entirely from the patient’s own blood, there is no concern about reactions to synthetic materials, which makes ezGEL a reassuring option for patients trying injectable treatment for the first time.
Over the following weeks, the regenerative components of PRF continue working to improve skin quality, elasticity, and tone in the treated area, so the result matures gradually and stays natural.
We inject slowly and precisely with a fine microcannula to keep downtime such as swelling and bruising to a minimum. If under-eye shadows that concealer cannot hide are one of your concerns, we would be happy to assess whether ezGEL is the right choice for you.
Mild pain, swelling, redness, or bruising may occur at the injection sites and typically resolves within a few days to two weeks.
The treated area may feel firm or show temporary bumps or unevenness while the gel integrates into the tissue.
In rare cases, infection or prolonged swelling may occur.
Very rarely, inadvertent injection into a blood vessel may impair blood flow and cause vascular complications such as skin necrosis; severe complications, including visual disturbance, have been reported with injectable treatments, though these events are extremely rare.
ezGEL is gradually absorbed over time, so the effects are not permanent; duration varies by individual, and repeat treatments may be needed to maintain the result.
