What is MESONA-J?
MESONA-J is a medical-use transdermal delivery device that was the first in the world to meet strict quality standards required for medical devices (JIS standards, EMC testing, etc.). It is also a Japanese skin care device that incorporates all functions of the famous Italian-made "Mesoactis" while offering higher quality and performance.
Unlike iontophoresis or ultrasound devices, MESONA-J features the Mesoporation method, which applies electroporation technology.Electroporation utilizes controlled electrical pulses to temporarily open tiny pores in the membranes of skin cells.. This method allows simultaneous painless delivery of multiple ingredients into the dermal layer, including non-ionized and high-molecular active ingredients that wouldn't penetrate with simple application. -
Penetration Power: 70x Higher Than Iontophoresis, 300x Higher Than Normal Application
MESONA-J delivers active ingredients directly to cells in the dermal layer without damaging the skin, producing effects similar to skin whitening injection methods. Through the Mesoporation method, ingredient penetration is approximately 300 times higher than normal application and 70 times higher than iontophoresis.
The MESONA-J treatment consists of 2 steps. First, a pen-type probe performs electroporation to create pathways for active ingredients to reach the dermal layer. Then, a roller-type probe is applied to the skin, using electrical repulsion force, electrical osmotic force, and physical pressure to deliver active ingredients to the dermal layer without causing skin damage or pain. The microscopic gaps created in cell membranes close quickly, so there's no need for concern. -
Using Delivery Solutions Combined from 8 Active Whitening Skin Ingredients
At our clinic, we use either the pink-colored THE PINK or white-colored THE WHITE delivery solution with MESONA-J, combining appropriate active ingredients from the following 8 types based on skin concerns and desired results. Please consult with our skin treatment doctor for details.
1. Whitening Skin Vitamins - Vitamin C derivative: Useful for wrinkles, dark spots, and anti-aging. Increases collagen production for firmer, more translucent skin
2. Tranexamic acid: Particularly effective for melasma. Can also help reduce inflammation
3. Arbutin: Expected to improve post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and provide skin whitening effects
4. Argireline: Effective for wrinkles. Also known as "topical Botox"

The practitioner will again remove any remaining makeup or sebum, apply the delivery solution to the skin, first use the pen-type probe to deliver electrical pulses, then use the roller-type probe to introduce the ingredients.
