The patient presented with concerns of fine lines, skin laxity, and overall skin texture. Given the slightly thicker skin quality, we selected a combination of Volnewma and HIFU treatments to achieve both deep tissue tightening and surface-level rejuvenation. Volnewma delivers precise radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen remodeling, improving elasticity and texture, while HIFU provides lifting by targeting the deeper layers of the facial structure.
This approach is particularly beneficial for patients with thicker skin, as it allows effective penetration and stimulation at multiple levels, leading to noticeable improvement in firmness, reduction of fine lines, and refinement of skin quality. Immediate tightening effects may be observed, with progressive results becoming more evident over the following weeks as collagen production increases.
While Volnewma and HIFU are generally safe and effective treatments, some temporary side effects may occur. These include redness, swelling, or mild discomfort in the treated areas, which typically resolve within a few days. In patients with slightly thicker skin, there can be a delayed onset of visible improvement as collagen remodeling takes time. Rare risks include bruising, uneven results, nerve irritation, or temporary numbness, although these are uncommon.
Patients are advised to avoid excessive heat exposure, alcohol, and vigorous exercise for 24–48 hours post-treatment to minimize inflammation. Optimal results are usually achieved gradually, peaking around 1–3 months after treatment.
