Doctor's Comments

Reduction rhinoplasty is far more than just making a nose smaller; it is a delicate art of creating facial harmony.
Our guiding principle is that the most beautiful nose is one that blends seamlessly with your other features, allowing your eyes and smile to truly shine.
During our comprehensive consultation, we analyze your unique facial anatomy and utilize advanced 3D imaging to visualize the results together.
This collaborative approach ensures that we design a surgical plan tailored not only to your aesthetic goals but also to the preservation of your natural character, resulting in a refined and balanced appearance you will cherish for a lifetime.

Risks & Side Effects

・Bleeding may last for up to 48 hours after surgery.
・Swelling and bruising typically subside within 1 to 2 weeks.
・Your nose may temporarily look “too high” or “too thick” until the swelling goes down.
・It takes approximately 6 months to see the final outcome.
・Scars from the incisions will not disappear completely.
・You may experience a foreign body sensation from the implant.
・A feeling of stuffiness (nasal obstruction) may occur.
・The final result may differ from your expectations.
・Pre-existing crookedness may become more noticeable after surgery.
・In rare cases, the surgical site can become infected, causing prolonged pain and swelling, which can lead to nasal deformity.
・A hematoma (a collection of blood under the skin) can form, which may cause deformity or breathing difficulties.
・There is a risk of the implant’s outline becoming visible through thinning skin, or even protruding through the skin.
・Nostril surgery may result in asymmetry or a persistent pulling sensation.
・Nose tip surgery can cause the contour of grafted cartilage to become visible, the tip to feel hard, or for it to become crooked.
・Nasal bone surgery may leave irregularities on the bone’s surface or result in the nasal bridge being wider or narrower than desired.
