The patient presents with noticeable under-eye dark circles and mild to moderate tear trough deformity. After evaluation, the HAMRA method is planned to improve the contour and volume deficiency beneath the eyes.
The procedure will involve repositioning of the orbital fat pads to smooth the tear trough and reduce shadowing without excessive fat removal, aiming for a natural and refreshed appearance.
Minimal incisions will be made inside the lower eyelid to avoid visible scarring.
Swelling and bruising around the eyes, usually lasting 1–2 weeks
Temporary numbness or altered sensation in the lower eyelid area
Asymmetry between the two eyes after surgery
Infection at the incision sites (rare with proper care)
Excessive fat removal or repositioning may cause hollowing or unnatural appearance
Scarring, though minimal as incisions are inside the eyelid
Prolonged swelling or discoloration in some cases
Dry eyes or irritation, usually temporary
Need for revision surgery if results are unsatisfactory or complications occur
