  • Treatment

The RF treatment begins with anesthesia (relaxation anesthesia/intravenous anesthesia). A cannula is inserted through 2-3mm needle holes made in inconspicuous areas of the treatment site, and RF (radio frequency) is applied. It takes approximately 30-60 minutes depending on the treatment area.

  • Aftercare

Medical protective tape is applied to the cannula insertion points, and a compression bandage is placed on the treated area to reduce downtime. The bandage should be worn continuously for 24 hours after treatment, and then as much as possible for about one week afterward. You will be allowed to go home after confirming that the anesthesia has worn off sufficiently. Please take the prescribed antibiotics correctly to prevent post-procedure infection.

FAQ

Q What is the difference between Embrace RF treatment and HIFU?
A

Both Embrace RF treatment and HIFU are sagging treatments that use thermal energy. The main difference is in the application temperature. Embrace RF is a device that sandwiches the skin inside and out, allowing detailed temperature settings with higher temperatures inside the skin for effective treatment of sagging while maintaining safe temperatures on the skin surface to prevent burns. In contrast, HIFU emits high-density ultrasound from the skin surface, so the temperature is constant. Embrace RF treatment is considered to have superior results in a single session due to its ability to set detailed temperatures inside and outside the skin, but HIFU has a shorter downtime. Our clinic proposes treatments tailored to your goals.

Q What is the difference between FaceTite and facelift?
A

The difference between Embrace RF (FaceTite) and facelift is whether or not it involves incisions. Embrace RF tightens the causes of sagging without incisions by applying RF (radio frequency) under the skin. In contrast, facelift is a surgical treatment that lifts sagging layers through manual techniques after making incisions in inconspicuous areas such as behind the ears. Facelifts have higher durability, but if you are reluctant to undergo incisions, non-surgical treatments like Embrace RF are available. Our clinic offers various skin rejuvenation treatments, so please feel free to consult with us.

Q When will I see results from Embrace RF?
A

Embrace RF treatment is not a procedure with immediate effects, but you'll gradually begin to feel the tightening effects starting about one month after the procedure.

Q Can Embrace RF treatment improve nasolabial folds?
A

Nasolabial folds require different approaches depending on whether they are due to inherent bone structure or aging. While it cannot be definitively stated, Embrace RF may potentially be effective. Please consult with a doctor to determine if Embrace RF is suitable for your nasolabial folds.

Q Are there any treatments that can be combined with Embrace RF?
A

Yes, there are treatments that can be combined with Embrace RF. For example, combining Embrace RF with liposuction can enhance the slimming effect under the chin, an area that tends to sag. We also offer step-by-step treatment plans to help you achieve your ideal results, so please feel free to consult with us about your concerns.

Q How long is the downtime after Embrace RF?
A

Downtime varies by individual, but typically lasts around 1 to 2 weeks. There is noticeable swelling immediately after the procedure, but it gradually subsides while the tightening effects continue to improve. Compared to HIFU, the downtime is longer, but most patients find that it becomes hardly noticeable after about a month.
If you experience any unusual symptoms after the treatment, please contact your doctor promptly.

Q How long do the effects of EmbraceRF last?
A

The effects of Embrace RF typically last from 6 months to about 1 year. Swelling may be noticeable for around two weeks after the procedure, but you will begin to notice tightening effects as time progresses. While results may vary, many patients feel the peak tightening effect around six months post-treatment, with results often lasting for up to a year.

Q Is Embrace RF painful?
A

Embrace RF is performed under anesthesia, so most patients do not feel any pain and may even feel drowsy during the procedure. At BIANCA CLINIC, we take great care to minimize discomfort during treatment. If you have strong concerns about pain, please consult with your doctor.

Q When can I bathe, wash my face, and wear makeup after Embrace RF?
A

If the attachment used is BodyTite, FaceTite, or AccuTite, you can bathe, wash your face, and wear makeup from the day after the procedure. However, in the case of Morpheus8, home care can begin the next day, and makeup can be applied 48 hours after the treatment.
