What is Abcracks?

Treatment
Under general anesthesia, 5mm incisions are made for cannula insertion. Tumescent anesthesia is injected to loosen fat, which is then suctioned using VASER®. Abs are sculpted according to the pre-designed markings. Compression sponges are applied, and the wounds remain open to allow drainage.

Post-treatment
The day after surgery, the incisions are sutured. Sutures are removed 1 week later unless Dermabond (skin adhesive) is used. We recommend 3 days of rest for recovery.

Significant swelling after abcracks typically lasts about 1 to 2 weeks. Bruising generally subsides within approximately 10 days. Please note that recovery varies from person to person, so consider this as a general guideline.

Contracture is a condition in which scar tissue hardens or pulls the skin, often seen in healing wounds.
