02 Implant Removal
Implant Removal is a procedure that surgically extracts a previously placed nasal implant to restore the nose to its natural state. It is indicated when the implant has shifted, become deformed, caused an unnatural appearance, or caused signs of inflammation or infection, in which case prompt removal is essential. The incision is made inside the nostril, leaving no visible external scarring. Depending on the patient's condition and wishes, implant replacement or an autologous rhinoplasty procedure, such as septal extension, can be performed simultaneously.
