What is ezGEL (PRF)?
ezGEL (PRF) is a regenerative injectable made entirely from your own blood. Like PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), it begins with a simple blood draw—but it goes one step further. The plasma is gently heated, allowing its natural proteins to form a soft gel that provides the volumizing properties of a dermal filler. At the same time, the concentrated Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) releases growth factors that stimulate collagen production and support skin regeneration. In addition to the skin-rejuvenating benefits of PRP, ezGEL provides a natural firming and volumizing effect. Because it is soft and free of synthetic additives, it is particularly well suited for delicate, thin-skinned areas such as under the eyes and around the mouth.
The result is a treatment that adds soft, natural volume and improves skin quality at the same time, using a material that is 100% you — no synthetic filler, no chemical cross-linkers, and no foreign substances left in the skin. How ezGEL is made — the science of 75°C
ezGEL is prepared from start to finish inside the clinic on the day of your appointment. First, a small amount of your blood is drawn and separated in a centrifuge into ezPRF — a concentrate rich in platelets, leukocytes and growth factors — and plasma. The plasma is then heated to precisely 75°C. At this temperature, the Human Serum Albumin (HSA) naturally contained in your blood changes structure and self-assembles into a stable gel. Finally, the heat-formed gel is combined with the ezPRF concentrate to complete your ezGEL, ready to inject.
The 75°C step is the key innovation: it is hot enough for albumin to reorganise into a firm, shape-holding gel, yet controlled so the proteins are transformed rather than destroyed. This is how a gel filler can be created purely from your own blood — with no chemical cross-linking agents, which conventional hyaluronic acid fillers require to hold their shape. -
ezGEL results: volume and skin regeneration in a single treatment
Conventional autologous treatments such as PRP improve skin quality but add little volume. ezGEL is the evolution of that idea: the gel provides immediate, filler-like volume to restore hollows and folds, while the Platelet-Rich Fibrin gradually releases growth factors that encourage your own collagen and tissue to regenerate. ezGEL results therefore build in two stages — you will notice firmness right away, and skin quality then continues to improve over the course of about one month.
This dual action is supported by clinical research. In a published multicentre study, 25 patients with moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds were treated with ezPRF and ezGEL; fold depth improved by up to 50% one month after treatment, and the results were maintained at six months. Reported side effects were limited to temporary bruising and mild swelling, and recovery was quick in all patients.

How ezGEL Differs from PRP, Fillers, and Baby Collagen
Compared with PRP or PRF injections, which primarily improve skin quality, ezGEL undergoes an additional heat-gelation process that gives it natural volumizing properties. This makes it much more effective for restoring hollows and softening fine folds.
Compared with hyaluronic acid fillers, ezGEL contains no synthetic materials or cross-linking agents such as BDDE. Instead, it stimulates your body's natural regenerative processes while providing subtle volume. For this reason, it is becoming an increasingly popular alternative for treating delicate areas such as the under-eyes. However, unlike hyaluronic acid fillers, ezGEL cannot be dissolved with hyaluronidase, and its volumizing effect generally does not last as long as longer-acting fillers.
