Photographing the full face from the front is how I judge whether the treatment is working evenly, because energy density and injection spacing are easy to keep consistent on the cheeks and easy to lose around the nose, the chin and the jaw border. In this patient the concern was texture with active inflammatory spots rather than laxity, so the radiofrequency settings were kept moderate and the polynucleotide volume was spread thinly across the whole surface instead of being concentrated in the scarred areas. Two weeks is early. What is visible now is the settling of inflammation. The change in surface quality builds from the second month and needs repeated sessions to hold.

Radiofrequency microneedling leaves the face flushed and slightly puffy on the day of treatment, with a grid of small crusts that flake off over three to five days. Skin feels tight and dry for about a week and makeup sits unevenly during that time. Darker or reactive skin can respond with temporary pigmentation, particularly if sun exposure is not avoided. Rare outcomes include a burn at a needle site, a visible line where passes overlap, and reactivation of cold sores.

Polynucleotide injection raises a bleb at each entry point that flattens within a day, and scattered bruises can persist for about a week. Tenderness and itching on the evening of treatment are normal. A small firm lump occasionally remains for several weeks. Benefit fades without maintenance, and infection is rare.
