Four different concerns were addressed in one visit: surface dullness, skin firmness, expression lines and a flat forehead contour. Massage peel and Mesona J were used for texture across the face and neck, Allergan botulinum toxin relaxed the forehead and glabellar muscles, and Juvederm VOLUMA XC restored contour to the forehead itself. Sequencing matters here, since injecting filler into a forehead whose muscles are still highly active tends to shorten how long the shape holds. At one month the toxin effect has fully developed and the filler has settled. Headache or a heavy sensation in the brow can occur briefly after toxin treatment.

Massage peel leaves the face flushed and warm, with a stinging feeling during application that eases within a few hours. Tightness, dryness, and light flaking follow for two to four days. Skin already inflamed by active acne, eczema, or a herpes outbreak reacts more strongly, so treatment is postponed in those cases. Darkening after inflammation is uncommon but possible without daily sun protection. Results build across a course rather than from a single session.

Mesona J drives a solution into the face and neck without needles, so redness, a warm tingling, and slight puffiness are the usual reactions and fade within hours. Dryness or brief itching can follow. Sensitivity to an ingredient in the solution, including vitamins or growth factors, is rare but possible, and any reaction is assessed before repeating. The hydrating effect is short lived, so regular sessions are needed to hold it.

Botulinum toxin in the forehead and glabella softens movement over three to seven days. Injection points can bruise, and a brief headache or heavy feeling across the brow is common in the first week. Because the forehead muscle lifts the brow, relaxing it too far can drop the brow line, and treating the glabella carries a small risk of a drooping upper eyelid. Both settle as movement returns across three to six months.

Hyaluronic acid in the forehead is placed deeply against bone, and swelling, tenderness, or a bruise may show for up to a week because the skin here is closely attached. The contour can look uneven while the gel settles, and a firm ridge is occasionally felt. Injection near the midline sits close to vessels connected to the eye, so vascular occlusion with skin damage or loss of vision is a rare but serious risk needing urgent hyaluronidase.
