Skin laxity in the lower face was treated from two depths in one session. FaceTite delivers radiofrequency beneath the skin to contract the fibrous layer, and Morpheus8 works from the surface with fractional radiofrequency needles to remodel the dermis. Used together they address both the deep support and the surface texture, which neither achieves alone. This photograph is three months after treatment, the point at which new collagen has formed and the contour has finished tightening. There is no incision, but the treated area feels firm and slightly numb for several weeks, and patients are told to expect this rather than to treat it as a complication.

Radiofrequency delivered under the skin through small entry points leaves swelling, bruising, and firmness of the jaw and neck for two to three weeks, and numbness can linger longer. Deep heating carries a risk of burn, contour irregularity, or a tethered area if energy is uneven, and temporary weakness of a facial nerve branch has been described. Tightening appears slowly over about three months. An extra session may be needed if the change is less than hoped.

Microneedling with radiofrequency leaves a visible grid pattern of pinpoint marks, redness, and swelling for two to four days, sometimes with light crusting. Darker skin types have a greater chance of pigmentation afterwards, so sun avoidance matters. Small nodules, prolonged redness, or a burn is uncommon with appropriate depth and energy. Cold sores can be triggered around the mouth. Collagen change continues for roughly three months and a series of treatments is usually advised.
